Edlin Marine is an independent, private business with years of experience in the marine industry. From multi hull yachts through to game fishing vessels, including offshore cruisers and live-aboard boats. Our passion and experience enables us to adapt to your individual needs. Being involved with both boat building and design, we can advise the best construction methods to suit your requirements and budget.

Our 12 x 20 metre boat shed with an extra 100 square metre machine shop is located in Matakohe on the Kaipara Harbour. Edlin Marine Ltd provides a comprehensive range of services and an opportunity for your involvement. We have available on site accommodation for both long and short term stays. This allows you to be a part of, and contribute to your project, and have somewhere to stay while your vessel is being worked on.

Edlin Marine designs have both custom and stock plans whether it is for charter or pleasure, mono or multi-hull, power or sail. We have an experienced design and industry related support network, if you wish to use our services for construction and/or project management only. In a country that has one of the highest standards of boat building we pride ourselves from the drawing board through to the commissioning of the finished vessel, to provide a result that meets your satisfaction.
