The library is run by a dedicated team of local volunteers. There's a great selection of both fiction and non-fiction books and an extensive selection in large print. Books are exchanged 6-monthly with larger public libraries in the Kaipara District so that a constant supply of new material is always available. Books can also be sourced by special request (for a small courier fee). A good range of Audio books is available and updated every 6 months.
The Children's library has new books purchased regularly. The 'Reference Library' also comprises a good selection of local history There's a good selection of jigsaws and an extensive range of magazines is also freely available.
