Pahi Regatta

The Pahi Regatta is now 135 years old and is the biggest racing arena between the two wharves, and an inherited instinct to put on a great weekend and be great hosts to a special crowd.
On the Sundays, the Raft Race became a Bathtub Race and has been a real crowd pleaser, as has the newer Massive Bomb Comp. This year the Raft Race is going back to the past with flour bombs and rollicking, good, clean, fun, and entry will be easier - you can just knock up a floating apperatus and show up on the day.

For this years Raft Race: Entry Fee: To be advised.
Start time: 10.00am on Sunday 26th.
Minimum 4 people per raft 12 yrs and over.
No motors allowed.
The 1km course will be explained on the day. 
There is a prize for 1st raft to finish
There is another equal prize for the "Most Entertaining Raft", judged on design and/or skulduggery on the water.
All rafts will have to pass a safety check including lifejacket and seaworthiness....
Foam, polystyrene, or materials which leave artificial debris in the water can not be used.
Flour bombs can be purchased, or must be made using non contaminating materials.
The main reason to race should be for fun.
